Early Life and Education:
Broda Shaggi was born on July 6, 1990’s, in Ikenne, Ogun State, Nigeria. He was born into a family of four boys and no girls, of which he is the first child.
He began his primary schooling at Mayflower Junior School in Ikene, Ogun State, while his father was still living.
Due to his dad’s death, he was no longer able to complete his education there and was instead enrolled in Heritage Primary School, where his mother could pay the tuition. He did, however, return to Lagos State, where he was raised.
Shaggi’s father taught music, dance, and theater at Mayflower Junior School in Ikene, Ogun State. It’s interesting to note that Shaggy’s passion in acting was sparked by his father.
Shaggi has always had a variety of artistic skills. As a young child, he would instruct and lead his classmates in ethnic dance at school, as well as perform in church plays and sketch effectively.
He participated on behalf of Birrel Avenue Senior High School in a drawing contest in which up to 36 Lagos schools competed during his secondary education. He took first place and received a N100,000 cash reward.
Furthermore, Shaggi was the winner of 100,000 Naira in the drawing contest, but he didn’t pursue drawing as a career; instead, he focused more on acting.
He enrolled in the University of Lagos where he majored in creative arts. He received his Bachelor’s degree in creative arts in 2016 after completing his studies there.
