Early Life and Education:
Jimmy Odukoya’s parents, Pastor Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya, were both killed in the 2005 Sosoliso plane tragedy. Jimmy was born on April 27 in Lagos State, Nigeria. Two of his sisters are from his mother, who passed away, and two of his brothers are from his stepmother, Nomthi Odukoya, who passed away in 2010. Jimmy is the youngest of four siblings.
His early education was in Lagos State, Nigeria, and he went on to earn a BA in Business Administration (with an advertising minor) and an MBA in Business Administration from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in the United States.

His mother, Bimbo, was a well-known televangelist, sought-after conference speaker, mentor to young, and marriage counselor. On December 10, 2005, she was a victim of the doomed Sosoliso airplane. His mom passed away from cancer in November 2021, and his dad remarried 10 years later to a woman named Nomthi Odukoya.
Jimmy weds Oluwakemi Folashade Banjoko, now known as Kemi Odukoya, on March 9, 2013, in London. She’s a London native with a degree in English literature. Pastor J’s wife Kemi is the executive director at FILM, and they have two children, a boy and a daughter.
